The accommodation was judged by all to be absolutely first class, spacious and beautifully appointed, with extremely well-equipped kitchens. After a day spent touring the Salento area, swimming at the lovely rocky coves along the coast, or lounging around the pool, it was great to relax in the cool of the evening on our private patio with the sun sinking behind the ancient dovecote, followed by a leisurely dinner washed down with an excellent local Negroamaro.
